February 2025, the Jones’s went on their first marriage retreat with Rosado ministries to Hawaii. When we landed in Honolulu we were 100% in crisis. This trip was either going to wreck us or save us and it did both. We were wrecked emotionally. We were taken back and forced to acknowledge unhealthy ways of being. We brought light the patterns that had us abandoning our marriage for the last eight years.

 

When it was all said and done, we walked away with Hope, homework, and decided we would leave our dysfunction on the road to Hana and come back with a plan to save our love. We just needed a little reminding of why we said “I do.” We are thankful to have not only this ministry, but to be surrounded by other couples fighting for their love alongside us. The community is irreplaceable.
